What do I need to start sending?
An SMTP account from your email provider or IT team (host, port, username, password), plus a recipient list and message content. Use Test Connection in SMTP Accounts before launching a campaign.
Does MaxSend guarantee inbox delivery?
No. MaxSend sends well-formed mail through your server, but inbox placement depends on SPF/DKIM/DMARC, domain reputation, list quality, and recipient policies. See the in-app Deliverability guide.
Where is my data stored?
Campaigns and recipients live in a local SQLite database on your Mac or iPad. SMTP passwords are in the system Keychain. Nothing is uploaded to a MaxSend cloud service.
Why do I see SMTP errors le 503 or 550?
503 sender already given usually means the server needed a session reset after a failed send—update to the latest app version. 550 rejections often mean the receiving server rejected your From address or recipient; verify your From mailbox exists and your domain has SPF/DKIM/DMARC set up.
Can I pause and resume a large send?
Yes. Send state is saved in the local database. Pause from the Send tab, quit the app if needed, and resume later.
Is MaxSend available on iPhone?
MaxSend is optimized for iPad and Mac. iPhone is not supported at this time.
How do I import millions of recipients?
Use a CSV file on the Recipients tab. MaxSend streams the file in chunks, validates emails, maps columns to merge fields, and deduplicates within each campaign.
